As the sun sets over the beautiful ecoCenterin Palo Alto, Piano City alumna Susan Lin invites you to experience an early evening of mesmerizing piano sound, shaped by her rare perspective as both a Master of Wine and a classically trained pianist. The program spans Chopin’s lyrical A-flat major Impromptu (Op. 29, No. 1), Fauré’s graceful Sicilienne, Ravel’s evocative Le Tombeau de Couperin, and Gershwin’s beloved “Embraceable You.” It’s a beautiful meeting of music, atmosphere, and Susan’s artful approach to sensory experience.
